About FIEG

Our mission consists in promoting the economic, social, cultural and industrial development of the State, by strengthening class associations, fostering local businesses and defending the interests of the industrial sector of Goiás.

Similarly to the Confederação Nacional da Indústria (National Confederation of Industry), which adds value to and acts as the main support to the Brazilian industry by offering professional education and qualification, FIEG (the Federation of Industries of the State of Goiás) supports the industrial segment in the State, by bringing together employers and labor unions.

FIEG offers specialized services such as special interest discussion forums attended by entrepreneurs and executives; consulting services for member labor unions and tax advisory services to the industrial segment. FIEG also fosters the political involvement of industrialists through follow-up of bills proposed by State representatives, supports and promotes international trade to the industrial segment through the Federation's Centro Internacional de Negócios - CIN (International Business Center); performs monthly surveys to identify economic trends for the segment; publishes and distributes printed and electronic material; and offers several other tools and instruments that allow the industrial sector to remain competitive within  the regional, national and international scenario.
